YouTube Beauty Vloggers I Actually Trust

I don’t know about you, but I have a very hard time trusting the YouTube community of “influencers” and this is especially true when it comes to the beauty community.

I know that many (if not most) of the influencers are influencing you to spend your money in a quid pro quo that really only benefits their wallets.

If you look into the amount of money that these influencers make, you will soon realize that the biggest of them are making millions of dollars off of their “influence”.

Point in case, just take a look at Jeffree Starr’s home tour #cannotrelate.

That being said, there are still a few out there that I do trust and think have the consumers best interest in mind.  Below I listed my top 3 most trusted influencers.

Wayne Goss:

I have always been a big fan of Wayne Goss.  I feel this way for a couple of reasons:  1. His content isn’t solely geared towards 20 somethings.  2.  He purchases many of his products that he is reviewing (thus making his reviews less “influenced” by the brands themselves).

Mel Thompson:

Mel is another influencer that I have been watching for a couple of years now.  You may have known her under her former YouTube name, “Puffins Wife”.  I really like her because there is something really authentic about her manner, and more importantly because she has only been doing YouTube as a full time job for the last year.

Elle Leary Artistry

I like Elle Leary for a couple of big reasons.  Mainly because she is very informative with her videos; she isn’t going to just go through 1,000 products without explaining the mechanics of how to apply them.  The other reason is because she is again, not just placating to a young audience-she could be watched by a wide range of viewers.
